Getting Old When did it happen? I recall a coqueta (flirt) cutie In a topless black classic Headed out for tomorrow Had the world In my fabulous bosoms And my furious hair Now the fates came to question my ways So I'm a witness To my dying young friends All failing of Heart, of Blood, of Spririt Damned Spirit I see the young old eyes On young old faces Those confidants - loved ME They were not that OLD! Perhaps this is why I go to lover and cry Thinking of them Will I demise soon? Hold me now While I'm here Always see the lustful me See the girl who shouts in the streets Just want to get young Just want one more night Of wicked laughter and sinister frolic With a tempting moon as my guide Getting old is worse than death It's a cruel joke With a voiceless good bye I have only my genius to declare! |

gah, you know.. I'm still pretty young but I feel so old.. As I grow, I notice how time just glides by so fast.. It's really not a matter of age, i figure.. it's what you've been through.. astounding write, I'm saving it. |
