Why does love hurt? Why do we hurt back... Why always the ones we love? What is it that we lack? Could it be that we feel safe Can it be that we trust too much That the person we love the most... can carry all this stuff Why do we give the burden of anger, those feelings that follow astride Why can't we let anger fall away and be by each others side? Why do we take each other for granted its not fair to say the least for because we are together doesn't mean we don't feel grief Why can't we let problems deal with themselves or be able to stand out of harms way for our emotions are what guide us... and because of that, strife leads the way Just hold me and tell me you love me lets continue to walk hand in hand and love ourselves, our family and each other and let the rest lay, like grains of sand. For what we face together Is like a test of our love each day And i know the strength we have now lets continue on our way Loving each other unconditionally being the people we want to be as separate personalities, yet together, in unity Let not the problems get in our way Lets become stronger as we should cause from the day i met you, i knew we could... |

because, the ones we love are the closest to us...and people are human...they make mistakes...and cannot live up to our expectations of them...they are who they are...they mostly cannot change...or if we do..then it is because it is something we desire...love does not mean to hurt...but if someone hurts you over and over again..then it is seriously time to rethink the relationship...love is not perfect, or an angel or a knight in shining armor...and to put someone way up there, will only serve to disappoint yourself and to make them feel like they've failed you...forgive and believe and understand...none of us are perfect...we are or never will think exactly alike...and love can dissappoint as much as it can compliment.... I hope I've helped answer some questions. |

thankyou for your thoughts.... these questions albeit are not ones i have necessarily felt, but have in the past....i have grown so much....i guess they are my thoughts on paper more than anything.. Love grows as does a nourished seed, and nothing comes without work, on both parts , after all, thats what makes a partnership... It seems that everywhere i turn, there is someone hurting.. i just wish that i could help them, other than just listening... Thank you again...*hugs* |
