What I wanted
Did I say need
Did I really know
So much to heed
Time stretched her arms
And yawned openly
Guile chased my thoughts
Pain seared my heart
Open and vulnerable
Time cried her tears
I ran in fear
Not really more anger
Venom claimed my mind
Ice crushed my heart
I shared and dared
A reward – nope not that
No ego no need
Did I say a need
What I really wanted
Guess nothing is guaranteed

Paul this is a wonderful write..

Hi Paul

I feel many emotions pulling at you in this...like some kind of ride in an amusement park and you're not sure if it's fun. I'm with Nancy...keep on writing and then post!
