When WE Sing |

Verse unfolding upon the canvases of consenting hearts Charms this sprinkle of freshened flowers Magic spins in the eyes of delight When we sing, when we sing…. Sending millions of colors on wing We form an internal spoken crystalline Sounds emit forward showering sun beams We submerge through the eternity of time and space Inclining on grace, tasting power & nature’s glowing place What care or greater price might a body store? Swelling within countenance, we suppose sunshine and little things Like a serenade gazes from a lover’s eyes We drink life, from a buttercup, impetuously pouring Sweet fragrance from the nodding air, golden keys unlocking Candle light….oh how eternal, how daring this surrounding sea Foaming a muse of elaborate June, in our own language And blind sounding energy is of a sapphire’s likeness As “Life” brings down this nightly caress, embracing mirth Oh the music, the charm, rich and content When we sing, when we sing…. |

I liked this alot. I also enjoy singing--and I can feel physical change happening inside at times--it's a wonderful feeling that I can't quite describe... Your poem reminded me of that. Thanks. |
