Impossible to be free from the world Emotions backed up in traffic Stuck in the midway without gas No way to release these thoughts Encaged thoughts without a key Locked away never to be free Impossible to retrieve The bars are to close The cage is too high Thoughts that could be the antidote The antidote curing life's troubles In the cage is where they'll stay Over the years, to turn black and grey |

symphony, Emotions backed up in traffic Stuck in the midway without gas This image was extremely evocative... something just sitting with some purpose to go somewhere and be somewhere--but prevented from doing so. That's a nice parallel to draw between love that has been abandoned, or prevented from growing. Thank you for this, --Matt |
