If I could capture happiness I'd wrap it, add a bow... Package up the peace and joy You so deserve to know. I'd weave a beam of sunshine To light the darkest night And give a box of guarantees That each move would be right, Melt the hearts of those you love, You'd never know despair And every time you felt a need You'd have an answered prayer. Sickness would pass by your door, Your life be free of pain, Success would come easily, Your star would never wane. If I could, I'd give you this And then give so much more, But the things I want for you Aren't sold in any store. Thus, I can only offer love And hope it brings you cheer To know you have a friend in me Always caring, always here. |

Ruth, Your best ever! Wow am I impressed. And turns out you give the perfect gift. Because many of those other things are how I learn.  If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
