Breadcrumb Senryu Like sprinkled breadcrumbs Senryus that feed our hearts Join with creatures all So we string soft words To hang such from stars, to catch Dreams that might arise Reflect then with all Those who watch a star’s pure shine We are not alone Sing sweet Senryus Wrap kind words in soft haiku Drop breadcrumbs, lightly Draw all beasts along That they may feed from our palms Sharing in our dreams |

K, Oh goodness, I love this! Breadcrumbs, yes. I just read a haiku before I came to your verse. I was thinking of attempting a structured poem such as this, but then I always think I can't because I always have too much to say and can't say it with such few words. Now, I shall think of this style as breadcrumbs to be dropped and feed others so that new thoughts are inspired. Lovely, my friend. Patricia |
