somebody's dungeon

It seems, of late, I must steal time
moment by moment what is mine.
What once I had abundantly
now comes only frequently,
and so alas my art is drained
as occasionally life's refrain,
must pump itself from out the veins
the impromtu gush of verse.

I suppose it could be worse...

I could still be longing for the embrace
from the child with an angel's face,
no, I scream, that's too much a curse!

Alone without her would be worse.

Some gains are worth a lot of losses. *S* A lot of love shines through this, Rosie... well done! *S*

Yes, there most definitely are more confines on your time now, but as you say, being without her would be unthinkable.

This period of adjustment will pass, and life will flow more easily. God bless you both!

Loves 'n hugs,
EA

suthern, thanks so much for your response. You are right, this is something that is more than worth the loss of time.

Linda, Thank you dear lady, for always reading. It will take some time, but I know that this period of adjustment will be worth it in the end. Again, thanks for reading.

This is so true, Anne.....

I could still be longing for the embrace
from the child with an angel's face,
no, I scream, that's too much a curse!

Alone without her would be worse.

It's good to see you here when you can get here.

Hugs to you, dear Lady
