Summer is here
The air is still
No cool air blows
Maybe soon, it will
The leaves hang heavy
On the trees
Like me, they're waiting
For a breeze.

Summer is here
The flowers bloom
Peonies, roses
Dispelling gloom
Shades of red
And pink and white
Bringing cheer
Both day and night.

Summer is here
The sky is blue
A breeze now blows
For me and you.
With gentle night
And carefree day
Summer's an act of
Nature's seasonal play!

Inspired by the HOT weather and the peonies in my back yard!

Excellent flow and rythm and meter and rhyming scheme... Just thought I should throw that in there so you don't think I'm a TOTAL idiot (although today it's pretty close lol)
