The Sadness Of Becoming Strangers to where do I go from here my arrival in a different city learning this art of being strangers finding a home where I do not belong I keep my hands to my side there is no further reason to reach out and a name I once pressed to my lips I now have folded and put away yet, it echoes me like a shadow in the missing of something shared I find such ignorance in my knowledge and that I still bleed when bandaged when I look and see a stranger standing where I had heard my heart in call *thank you Dixie for giving me the title, to the words, of my heart |

Helen, this is so sad to me. It really touched my heart. It's like I can feel your sadness. I truly hope that your heart feels better real soon. Heart hugs to you Ethel |

Your very beautiful words are deeply touching. Indeed the heart can't understand this process of becoming strangers ... and hurts. Love, Margherita |

With your words you create an image of your sadness in my heart which I can feel as if it were my own. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. [This message has been edited by Larry C (06-12-2003 12:31 AM).] |

"I keep my hands to my side there is no further reason to reach out" Got me! I was not expecting my walls to be breeched this afternoon. I guess I needed that, so, thank you. |

I don't think I could respond to this better than echoing "garysgirl". Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

"a name I once pressed to my lips I now have folded and put away yet, it echoes me like a shadow in the missing of something shared" that... is what is in my chest. Thank you Helen. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
