Shadows Of A Silent Moon
~*Marge Tindal*~

Shadows of a silent moon
fall heavy ‘cross my heart
Plunging me into a darkness
of which I don’t wish to be a part~

Noisy moon come waltz me
across an indigo night
I long for your glow of beauty
bathed in ethereal light~

Shadows of a silent moon
reflect the phase of time
Passing … friendship’s borders
on it’s way to hearts entwine~

I would beckon each ray of light
to fall softly upon your face
Knowing that our friendship
is of His good grace~

*Dedicating this one to Dixie, who inspired it and also to Pat for the blessings of her friendship*
~Thank you ladies from the heart of my little bottom~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

I am certain without a doubt, that you are the best kind of friend there is.  Lovely writing, and full of everything that makes a friendship last.

Is the moon ever completely silent? It seems to still speak, even on a bad night.
Love this.
