      A Smile n Hello

Be it not her kisses nor  hugs
I desire,nor be it a seductress
I yearn for   oh no I have long
held a empty heart ~  that has
not shared the ~completeness
of passions  and the complete
love of a woman  ~  for I have
~  relinquished all temptations
not to savor  ~  and surrender
~  my self to such encounters
of iniquity   ~  until she smiled
and said hello

A voice of honesty
   is treasured
more than voices
   of flattery

For you, I shall have to repost, someday, a little poem..."She Said Hello"...

because you've encapsulated the other side of it very well.

Enjoyed, Glenn....

I believe the woman can identify with
the smile and "Hello" from a man.

Something about those warm, sincere smiles!

VERY good write!

Till oceans cease to flow and deserts lose their sands, may beauty surround you every day and wealth be in your hands.
