Solstice with the Sky Dancers Our solstice dance shadows the waning moon tonight, though we have never been apart as long before my love, softly sewn together for just a moment in this orbit dance, a weave of light slowly spinning and spinning an old pavane, we dream anew the flights of chance. We share this crossing again as the moment we share... we radiate more than that glow as her light grows inside us knowing that we are always one soul. There is no other sign to point the way, no detour to heaven's gates on this narrow road through our final passing on this longest day, to sate our thirst. These are our flowers to grow in a better loam than before, in deeper dreams that only lovers know, as simple shadows we have sown. Will Patrick |

You speak my language. And YES...it's that time again. The Ratleader was right. You are quickly becoming one of my favorite reads. |

"we dream anew the flights of chance. (love the way that sounds) knowing that we are always one soul. (sigh) These are our flowers to grow in a better loam than before, in deeper dreams that only lovers know, as simple shadows we have sown." Truly, beautiful |

Will, this is so, so beautiful By the way, I went to your webpages and looked around a little. I like it a lot and am going back to visit and read more of your poetry. You are a very good writer with much talent, Sir. Yes, Ed was right!! Hugs Ethel [This message has been edited by garysgirl (06-21-2003 12:35 AM).] |

"These are our flowers to grow in a better loam than before, in deeper dreams that only lovers know, as simple shadows we have sown." This resonates in me....something I've felt, that you have expressed in the way I wish I'd done. Thanks for it, Will.... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
