~*~ My fairy muse, Her name is Merry, She can amuse, And be contrary! She flits and flies About my head, And darts around When I'm in bed. She wakes me up In mid of night, Says, "Grab a pen! Now write and write!" She talks of love And fantasy, Then she's spoutin' Philosophy. Merry is my Inspiration, But at times, She's pure frustration! She spews out words From soft to bold, One moment hot, Next moment cold. She speaks like saint, And then does not, Speaks angel words Then words red hot! When she's away I long to hear, Poetic words Ring in my ear. My Merry's aim Is to confuse, But I won't trade My fairy muse! ~*~  [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (06-19-2003 08:42 AM).] |

Muses are cool. After all, where would we be without them? How did you name yours--did it just come to you or did you find a name that seemed to fit her? I wonder what my muse is named. Cute write, Linda!  ~Elizabeth Dreams last for so long, even after you're gone... |
