Crows Weep

crows weep
I hear
them cry

as your
love for me
slowly dies

they hang
on the wind
pretending to fly

replaced by a breath
that once
was a sigh

now broken echo
lonesome winged
sound in reply

crows just weep
I hear them
cry

How sad.. A very well-done poem as always, however. Thank you.

such a mixture of sadness and beauty can only come from a broken heart. ~HUGS~

I'm speechless...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

h,
I'm impressed, again.
And again, the more times I read a piece of your work, the better it gets.

I particularly like:

"they hang
on the wind
pretending to fly"

their caws

when the crows
depart
with
the broken parts
of your heart

they will call back
in flight
into the night
and then
they will disappear

Helen:

I quote from a tune
from the Chili Peppers
their album, "Scar Tissue"

"With the birds I share
a lonely view"
