Finding Herself Her hands are poised over the keyboard Soft music is playing To set the mood. Her fingers are ready to dance on the keys To become someone else When suddenly She sees the wrinkles in her bent wrist So she stops to pour lotion on her hands Hoping to stall time And the damage it’s always done. Once again She locks her door So no one will know Who she really is. So as the music plays And she begins to write She finds herself Once more BloomingRose |

BloomingRose, the music plays and we sing the songs of yesterday, to think back and realise how quickly time has gone, and even though we still feel much the same, we have aged, time is not kind to us and what it brings we can not change, nor should we try too hard. Writing is so wonderful and fulfilling, with the music let your fingers dance the waltz of words; down memories lane or onward to future's gaze. I enjoyed your words here, great write. Take care and never be afraid of being you. Sincerely Rick |

What cream do you use? Does it really work?!? ![]() A beautifully written expose of an aspect of one's inner--and outer--self. Warm hugs, EA [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (06-17-2003 11:20 AM).] |

So good to read you Deb! This has sad overtones.. and it is amazing as to when we suddenly realize the wrinkles, and that time is not standing still. Excellent thoughts here. ~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~ ~Somewhere in my heart I'm always |

Thank you...Though I seem to stray away from writing poetry from time to time, I always know I can come back home to the blue pages. Hugs to all, Deb |
