function(life); urban lines flow like vines twisted grinding, choking the light from the street lamps life A matter of time until the gate falls gaping wide, doomed, constrived moving forward, stumbling down Injured by self, own kind to blame though blame is indifferent just another one to stab and blind Taken in, shown my care crying and shaking to stand there naked, to stare. I let her go, cold outside she felt no escape vice grip holds the heart An eternity of noise wrapped with silence would pass but 30 minutes The attack begins, the vines would stalk stretching out, reaching for limbs one foolish soul to walk unharmed two just left, blood brothers to stand we ran and ran, fleeing the slaughter persued through life and love, life.fate Unscathed, still standing heart drumming, soldiers stood still we broke through the battle, we live our life through Sorry folks, im pushed for time right now, i'll be back later so i can review some pieces then [This message has been edited by splick (08-02-2003 11:08 AM).] |

Well I realize a "welcome" is a little late, but I'm reading through the archives this morning and found this rather intriguing. I really like the drama of the word choices here and the spooling out of the vivid visuals reminded me of goth comics. I'm already smiling thinking of the possibilities of that too. Hmmm.... hope you stuck around, this was/is intriguing and hopefully *ahem* it will prove inspirational to me as well. Thanks |
