Fall of 66 as hormones rage and curves entrance. Classical tunes blaring against the mirror as base feeds the brain on high volume. Pep rallies of short skirts and long legs, long sighs and short dreams. Pom Poms dancing as jiggles jumble the eyes and drools drip the lip upon the skip of beat. Hot cars and warm girls, nights at the local drive-in where many a window fogged and who knows how the flick ended. Finger prints and hearts on the glass as giggles moved the jiggles and skins touched in tremble as lips touched tenderly against hot breath and White Shoulders... Kill the dome light, seconds on popcorn, slip out the door, buckle and zip, catch an ear of who’s who outside the restroom as cigarettes glow the night and intermission cools the lust.... Fall of 66 and tender traces, romantic spaces...name of the flick.... Not a clue!!! |

As a person who missed the age of the drive-ins... this gave me a taste of their glory and the age in which they lasted. Well done. Psalms 20:7 "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God." |

Barry, That was before my time... If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
