Daddy why did you go I came back one day and you said there was something we needed to know You said you had to leave I didn’t cry daddy even though it made my heart heave You and mummy never fought At least that’s what me and sister thought Then when you kissed is one last time That simple act became a crime Mummy doesn’t even know Why you let our happy family go Was this perfect family all too much Did you need a younger touch? Are you happy now daddy? Not with our family but with her and free Was our simple life holding you back? Even so it wasn’t right to crack I know I'm not the only one Whose life was ripped at the seams whose life came undone But why did you do this thing to me Why did you tear me apart daddy Even though you’re still my father You’re not daddy now you are with her I hate you for leaving me that spiteful day And I hate all the daddies who have left and run away |

Through your writing, you were able to express and share your pain. With the passing of time, that pain will lessen. Fill your life up with things that you enjoy and keep you busy. That may help.
