gleaming buckle to dull black leather porcelain skin to its purple bruises sugared lips hide venom an outstretched hand into a clenched fist the fairytale of a loving god to the truth of the absconder that sees all and does nothing |

OK, maybe I am crazy (dont answer that) but God, Raph I see so much here: what was once is gone what is shouldnt be what is said is a farce a loving hand recoiled from and the one at fault being deluded by a watchful eye of apathy: the fairytale of a loving god to the truth of the absconder that sees all the contrasts are a lead in to end lines this sits by Sophia . . . xxoo [This message has been edited by littlewing (07-30-2003 03:34 PM).] |

True, in reality, who can help us? Only ourselves I suppose. It's not only Him who sees all and does nothing, there are only too many humans who do it to others, and themselves. as we always say: aaaaaarrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhh humans. aaaaaargggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lazy god. sigh. this made me cower in the corner. I've been threatened many a time by the gleaming buckle. not pretty. Instant karma's gonna get you. |

oh the welts a well applied leather belt can leave....I wore them well. At a young age I may not have known what Agnostic meant, but I knew what it felt like... Aenimal, love you and your writes. Susan C. |

I understand what you write, Raph. I just can't feel the pain you feel although I can imagine. I am one of those lucky ones who felt loved and rarely got reprimanded unless it was for something my brothers did and we would all be punished for those (they told good fibs)and I am much older than you, then the belt was a normal way to punish, but my father would just send us to our rooms, instead. I would hate to have to carry those burdens of such pain and hurtful times. hugs Maureen |

Raphael The contrasts, like whispers, yell the message. A painful one. |
