Paths of green
scattered with thoughts
of yesteryear
and
some of things to come
the reeds bend
in summer breezes
when my thoughts
of love
and things that are true
and things
the mind transcends
I know
I have to prepare
as petals fall
from my fingers
for ashes of things gone
to not affect me so
And when the reed bends
on the next years
summer breezes
as the old
flows in to the new
prepared
ready
for another
green path
in my life
to show!

Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer!

Oh, I liked the thoughts here very much...it held hope of new paths, waiting in fresh breezes.  Enjoyed the images that went from the words into mind's eye!!  ~S~

Oops Angelblueeyes I meant the comment that I said to Passing shadow (you are so right)for you, and passing shadow I wanted to say ... I am glad this was uplifting for you.. It's a sense of resolve that I came to about a month ago having to do with something about my mother.
I am so sorry girls, and I hope you both will forgive me for this little mix-up. It's hard keeping up with all the comments when you move to the next page to comment. Sorry. Hope i'm forgiven. :'(

Love,
