With A Stroke Of A Key Tales of the marionette Dancing to each tune Across cyberspace Gazing star and moon With her painted mask Dancing to seduction He pulls her strings She followed instruction Threaded to his words So flexible and pliable At every keystroke She was ever reliable The dangerous liason She foolishly dangled Without a safety net Heartrings entangled Love does silly things Yet grateful was she Allured and enticed With a stroke of a key HopeĀ©2003 |

Speaking as a former 'marionette', I have to agree with this poem in every line! But, let me add that it is always a thrill to meet the one who is clicking the keys!! Loved this one....excellent.....~~S~~ Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart ~~S~~ |
