huddled in false security it had no intentions of being discovered but with a gleam and a practiced flip it was uncovered naked and shivering it sought refuge with another and another overcrowding forced it out into the open for guilt and shame now occupied its sanctuary peace demanded a death sentence as the author of deceit distorted the truth will set you free a lie is no excuse for pardon with chaos crowned and all subjects dutifully paying homage the instigator left to find another to uncover [This message has been edited by jellybeans (07-29-2003 02:27 PM).] |

overcrowding forced it out into the open for guilt and shame now occupied its sanctuary Now how am I supposed to give a poem the sincere appreciation it deserves when I'm giggling and ducking (and being grateful you couldn't hit the side of a barn? *G*) I like this very much, Lovey... your muse funnels indignation very well. *S* |

I am better this moment for having read this as I take an honest look at someone in my life. Thank you. Patricia PS Jellybean was my daughter's nickname as a little one...now I just call her "bean" for short. |

That's the way, all right....no doubt about it! But don't give up, for every hundred or so dirtbags, there's at least one good one..... ....and I'm with the Reb on this one -- you write a really good mad! I will ardently attempt to stay on your good side... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
