Hush! Inspiration comes alive in the everyday sounds of life There are jewels to be gleaned by listening One’s own voice can mask the sweet bird songs in the dawning Or the innocent questions asked by a child thirsting for answers to life… Hush! Listen to your own heartbeat keeping time to the pace of your world Reflect on the silence Through it will come your own melody Thoughts will form in your mind that beg for rebirth in your pen But to open the door to inspiration one must first learn to Observe Listen and Hush! I speak from the Voice Of Experience |
