I am in love. Her name is Nicole, and she dots my face Daily with kisses and sweet promises. And I'll hold her forever, in her place, Two warm arms reminding her that this is Where she belongs. I am insane For thinking that you'd come and go. Some day we'd split and I'd recooperate. That I wouldn't starve in needing you so. Instead I live my life as one long wait For our union. I am in love. She tells me that she needs me when she calls And the phone vibrates with her longing voice. Back to her, my words of choice crawl. "I will always love you," and I rejoyce For she does too. my writings "We talk so abstractly about poetry, because we are all bad poets." - Nietzsche [This message has been edited by davidmerriman (07-28-2003 11:32 PM).] |

It's a roller coaster isn't it David? You wrote of this well. Just one small query did you plan to write rejoyce as a play on words in the last line, if so it is very clever. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

David, this is beautiful, and mushy, and this hopeless romantic loves it, too!! Hugs Ethel |
