I hover in thoughts
over found photograph
of your hand
carefree trust in prints
not the most beautiful thing
yellowed cigarette worn
nails bitten to bone
you don't know
how they felt to me
strum of guitar
ink upon your pages
held soul belief
unwashed promises
I should retract mine.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

retact...heh. Doesn't know how much pain he's caused.. But then again, it makes you write stuff like this. you allways hit hard

how they felt to me
strum of guitar
ink upon your pages

Do you ever wonder what this might be preparing us for?  Do you ever wonder and realize the chances we've taken?  And to love as you have...is an experience all in it's own...something most do not ever even touch on...someday...this person will be very abruptly awakened to the lose in you...and then, it may be to late.  But...in the end...I believe it all works out hte way it's supposed to, despite what we want...our needs are filled.  God bless you always

A wonderful poem.  My first real lover (at least a thousand years ago) taught me that hands can speak and make music that reaches inside the soul.

Thank you.

Oh yes ... there is just something about a man's hands that get to me everytime ... sheeesh ... I can relate to this one ... strongly.

Great read here.
