Ok, so it wasn't too painful.

This was my challenge to reverse my writing style. I got hope. Those of you who know me can imagine my distress. At any rate, here it is, in all its shining mediocrity. lol... enjoy.

“Hold on,” they say, “Life is long,
and so much time is still to come,
and there are still so many opportunities.”

They tell me that I’m gifted.
I wouldn’t know...
not even if they
broadcast me
on the six o’clock news, but then,
I always have been
blind
to my potential.

To be honest,
I’m usually wrong.
Usually they’re all right,
and maybe this is no exception...

The possibility is an
enchanting one...
intoxicating,
and it smells like lavender...

Maybe I’ll try it, just once,
this holding on,
because life is long.

Your words were "intoxicating" and smelled like "lavender" which is an essential 'healing' oil...

Well done, Kielo!

littlewing, yes it was hard, thank you, and for someone who I don't recall talking to all that much, you know me very well.... LOL

Although I suppose that poem makes it quite obvious... lol.... at any rate, thank you.

Earth Angel, thank you. I don't really like the lavender line.... I like it on its own, but I don't think it fits. It could just be me, but what do you think? And thank you again, very much.

littlewing, thank you very much, again, and, if you insist, you're welcome.

Skyfire..... Old news, isn't it?
Honestly, though..... thank you very much. Try and guess how much that means to me.

Wind.... *grin* I know the feeling And thank you

Nightshade.... thank you very much. I've been asking around outside of Passions, too, and it does seem that people like the lavender line.... *shrug* Like I said, I'm usually wrong!
