I miss you;
I miss your kisses,
and hugs, and looks.
(even though I only
had them those two
forbidden nights)
My head knows
you're not worth it
but my heart just won't listen.
A part of me still loves you
and misses you with
that tear-jerking urgency
and the heart-rending sobs
that heave through me
when I know that you lied
and I feel it as well.
