Just As You Are

It's not in my mind, I write,
but in my heart, on cardboard find.
"I love you just the way you are"
a moment's relapse, movie time...

I'm sitting home alone again
another weekend passing by,
and there you are in every role
to draw me in, to breathe in, sigh.

You're everywhere it seems to be
no matter where my body goes.
For in my heart, no one can steal
what's yours, that makes my words to flow.

I'm sure it matters not today,
the tone I write, the words I say.

Watching movies today (romance ones

and I see him in each cast, no matter who the actor is, he is replaced with my thoughts)

thanks for reading...I actually did write this on a piece of shirt cardboard I grabbed out of my trash can. When the mood strikes, huh???

Some days I don't plan on writing, then I took comfort in watching Brigit Jones Diary.

Thought to myself how much she seems like me...sad huh? At least she had a happy ending.
