Under the covers in my bed I lay
I close my eyes and begin to sigh,
as your memories flood my mind
with pleasant thoughts of every kind.

It's you I see standing in the rain,
beckoning me to you through my window pane,
to come outside and dance away
and cuddle and kiss and frolic and play.

Under the stars and moon and nightime sky,
A tear forms and I begin to cry:
with joy, with glee, with unending bliss,
because of this warm, passionate kiss
that causes these feelings of happiness.

It's you I know
who will be at my side
to love and cherish until the end of time.

Visions of you fill my mind
with every sort of imaginable kind.
I wish to be...
I long to see...
your gentle eyes gazing at me.

So take my hand and hold it tight.
It looks like it's going to be
another warm and rainy night.
