White foam lines, roll ashore below blue skies of crystal, punctuated by white plumes of clouds.

Sun shines down on people at rest, no cares.
Carefree, they stroll, run, play or shout out loud.

Gulls survey things from on high, searching for a morsel of food, discarded from sated humans.

Long snaking lines of people walk, talking in the soft sea air, to most people this much is rare.

Skylark sings beautifuly above my head, stark reality in this place of leisure.

Towering cliffs, decorated by seabirds, as ancient as the sea, to me just gazing around is such a pleasure.

sitting and watching is such a joy, isn't it...your poem took me there for a moment...could even smell the funnel cakes and cotton candy, hearing all the sounds of the amusements, which brings the senses much pleasure.  Wonderful write.
