I Am I am an insomniac and a bit insane I wonder how I got this way I hear voices in my head I see shadows in the dark I want to sleep and dream for a change I am an insomniac and a bit insane I pretend to move forward but I feel I'm floating on air I touch the clouds in the sky I worry they will rain on me I cry when I am lonely I am an insomniac and a bit insane I understand the feeling of being alone I say time is on your side I dream of falling in an abyss I try to hold on to something I hope I don't hit bottom I am an insomniac and a bit insane "No matter what obsticles life may bring, remember, You can fly" author unknown |

Very well written. Seems to be the type of challenge that really shows the inner thoughts of the poet - I would like to try....but am a little scared. lol. Chris |

echoing Chris... what I love about this challenge is that we see ourselves in each other...and realize our differences are minimal compared to the similarities. I love this. And thank for being brave enough to dive deep.  enjoyed. |
