~*~
As death draws nigh,
Fear not the night,
For angels will guide you
To God's White Light.

Lift up thine eyes,
To the vastness o'er thee,
Beyond the dark skies,
Into eternity.

Soar past the stars,
Beyond deep space,
And rejoice in the glow
Of God's loving Face.

Hoping that this is for no one in particular, but for all in general.

A lovely thought, Linda

I don't know if I'd want to be in Gods face.
LOL maybe just at the end of the line.

Linda, this is so beautiful. It sounds
better than a Hallmark card.

(I did have to giggle at Ed and Seymour's replies. LOL)
Hugs to you

Wranx ~

No, Ed! I'm happy to say that it was written "for no one in particular, but for all in general".

Mr. T. ~

Now don't go telling me that you'd deny God the pleasure of seeing you face to face again!--Besides, I do no think that you would be able to avoid it, Dear One!--'cause you'd be at your rightful place at the front of the line!

Linda, what a wonderful, and soothing poem for all of us to ponder.  But in truth, it really would be comforting to have on a card, as it is beautiful.  ~V~

Sometimes we write something, not knowing the 'where' of it ... the 'why' ... or the 'who' ... but trust me dear lady ... this has touched me more than you could possibly know~

I am so glad it came my way~
Thank you~

As a poet yourself, I believe that you would understand how deeply your reply touched me.

I am sending a rainbow of lights to crown you and all of your loved ones,

I seldom plan what I am going to write about. When a poem is completed, I'm frequently asking myself, "Now where did that come from?!?"--but in actuality, I do know...

Loves'n hugs,
Linda
