Be not humble toward death
Go not meek and trembling
Like some coward thief
Afraid of his own demons

Face him squarely in the eye
Fight fate in its every guise
So that all will remember
And your name will resound in song

Scream against death until the bitter end
Summon all the rage of humanity inside
Hold on tight to its tethered reins
Riding it wherever it goes

So that maybe even death might die

BRAVO! I say fight him/her, with everything you've got!
Hmm, I've often said I'll refuse DEATH when he/she knocks on my door.
So when MY time actually comes? I intend to kick and fight and scream all the way out the door. If I'm conscious, that is.
