A Love Letter When one has done all one can, their world proceeding on, dictating mandates, regardless, trying to be their own person, do they learn too soon, following thrills, something is missing, perhaps not even a shout from inside, but a silent whisper why did I settle for this course.... Perhaps loneliness had come about, innate desires to be with some one in tune, not knowing how quickly untuned with time even the finest instrument can become.... asking if not this, then what? and taking this, when that feeling still remains of an emptiness almost indescribable remaining, laying hollow in our centerness.... So to you, my friend, my love, my center, Fate, strange ways guiding us, perhaps God's hand, perhaps thread of gossamer a spider's strand of silk spun airborne, softly comes to touch us on the forearm, calf of a leg, upon sweat’s brow of a summer's day, we gently brush at it as we would a fly or gnat, but shiver of touch remains, if not too busy with mundane life, take a moment to feel a presence that has been in search all of this time.... It is that, when we listen to our inner self, we allow the feel of our true mate to touch us making known to our heart.... the one so, not a physical attraction, nor bodies needing bodies for warmth or comfort, nor even minds needing wit and parry of other minds.... but all those things that matter when even in the midst of friends, family, one finds one looking into the mist at what might still be out there.... traveling through fog, one still has sense of destiny, unfinished, but nearing time when all good shall come, even if we haven't waited, but are still meant to be.... with one in my heart, I am meant to be one man's true love... I believe it to be you... I believe in you.... I love you. |
