My Delilah

I run my fingers through the nub
Through the crew cut and the stub
Delilah keeps it nice and trim
Keeps short my follicles of vim

And thought I meditate my fate
By God I think it is too late
She’s hooked me up unto the plough
As if I were a horse or cow

And though each day I work the field
I come home to the richest yield
My food is cooked my house is clean
My bed is made all fresh and preens

And I am happy with the bill
My cup is full until it spills
And though I ache in every bone
I know that I am not alone.

So till they come to pick me up
I’ll sip this honey’s buttercup.

Morning Sy!
I'm writing to you from the dungeon today..
Something wrong with my computer upstairs.
It's just awful down here..(don't ask)
but see what great lengths I would go to for you!
Wonderful write this morn.
~Morning hugs & tea, Nancy~

Dear Samson, your locks may have been sheared, but there's strength in your poetry and beauty in your soul...

May you and Delilahbel be forever together 'til the end of all time...
