The pleasure of the slight and pleasant days
  Encounters us too early and too oft
  That we depart the momentary loft
Of thought too hastily, and 'hind us stays
A wounded seraphim, bleeding profuse
  Against dividing mirrors of stain'd glass
  Obscure as her dear eyes that we see past
To the vast, sunnèd garden's open sluice;
Scorn pleasure's dance, and scorn the apple tree
  And butterflies who on dead stems alight
   For in the chapel, known by precious few,
Behind that crumpled seraph did I see
  A vision most compelling to my sight:
   Divinest tulips in the lamplight grew.

Man you're deep.  Either that or I'm extremely shallow, hehe.

Great write though I can't tear it apart line for line...I'd rather just tell you how good it was, and let you know that I LIKED!

that is because you are you, and, that was one of the most beautiful, and tender sonnets I have ever read.  I commend you on an absolutely exquisite piece of writing.

Mysteria is right. And Kels here is your proof of no reason to doubt.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
