I live forever and have nothing to live for; all that I deemed precious has been lost in this journey, this desire to explore the darkness that surrounds me. Night and sleep chase each other in an endless orbit of despair circling my heart, that fills my dreams with shadows while my waking is surrounded by nightmares too vivid to be true. Restlessness pecks at me as I wander labyrinthine pathways shaded by night and sorrow while the timelessness of the moon laughs in hollow mockery. The circadian rhythms that monitor the heartbeats of my existence have disappeared in the twilight of eternity while the love that called me to this has degenerated to dust and ash. Walking, ever walking, through the corridors of time that have no end; I beg for release and the echo of my plea rebounds from the walls in doppelganger mimicry; while I live forever and pray for the world to cease Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Kethry...Very well expressed verse. My very favorite part of this poem is this: The circadian rhythms that monitor the heartbeats of my existence have disappeared in the twilight of eternity while the love that called me to this has degenerated to dust and ash. Wonderful imagery throughout; but especially here. ***Ivy Rose |

What a talented writer you are, Lynne. I love to read your work....I wish I could write like you do. It's beautiful. Hugs Ethel |

I read this and I think thusly.. "I am supposed to be able to write.. I am supposed to be able to write".... so why is it that I cannot think of the words to tell you how marvelous this is or the immensity of the feelings it inspired.. It simply leaves me.. intensely emotional but speechless.. Pepper |
