The peak is high, Darker than the moon, It's stone reaches the sky, A summit beyond bloom. By the night sky, We see the blue flame, Destiny makes me wish to fly Up to that world so tame. Time stands still, A plain of froze fire At the peak of this hill, Within the grasp of the night's pyre. I reach for it, desperate to touch The place where ice stands lit, I desire it so much. But the mountain is full of lies, Easy to climb, impossible to descend, How many foolish lives Have been closed by this false friend?
