emptiness has over spilled in rooms that had fullness silence has replaced the songs that filled within these walls scents of stagnates replace the bouquets of you dust has covered the goodbye you lipsticked on the mirror your coffee cup has remained unfilled sitting alone along side the letter you left the porch swing hangs without motion that overlooks the flower bed now filled with weeds news papers cover the driveway with mail bulging from the box the remembrances of you still casts shadows that linger within the place we shared together A voice of honesty is treasured more than voices of flattery QjQ [This message has been edited by QjQ (07-18-2003 05:08 AM).] |

Lives entwined can be agony in the unravel. Emotions expressed so clearly here. Well done. TD |

Well, something good has come out of something sad--this poem! My goodness, you did a fine job with this achy-breaky, lonely-heart situation! I'm there with you and I'm crying! Remember, "and this too shall pass"... Loves 'n hugs, EA |
