Nothing can be worse or more tragic for parents than a missing child. The following poem is one such cry of anguish from the parents of a missing child. The Missing Child “Desiree Dear”, we miss you so much We miss your smile… we miss your touch Every morning, we’d play peek a boo This morning we didn’t know what to do. Your crib is empty, your stroller too… Our life is in chaos – Oh! What do we do? Desiree Dear, how will Dad and Mom Keep you safe before you come to harm. When you cry out, we can’t rush to you Hold you in our arms to comfort you. We rejoiced the day that you were born Today we mourn because you are gone. Wherever you are, may God watch over you Until we meet again to rejoice with you. Desiree Dear, as long as we live… Our life is yours…for you we’d give. |

This one is so very, very sad ... poignantly gut-wretching~ The tears no parent should EVER have to cry~ Thank you for sharing this~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
