Very long ago, down deep into a cold darkened cavern, enclosed within a golden box, there layed the crystal heart, in crimson red velvet, This heart bore magical power, true love, inner beauty, and whomever possesed it, would control all the land of Knor, the unicorns, this power rested inside the center of the hearts amulet, One day in the land of Knor, evil had consumed all the innocent hearts, evil controlled the land, bringing famine, despair, and sorrowful saddness, But it was foretold by all the kings and great wizards of the past, that one of true inner beauty would be born, she being gifted with all the gifts, eternal love, peace, happiness, This fairest child of sweet love, natures child, would be brought forth, she would be the chosen one, to break evils spell, Her name remained a mystery, but whosoever shall find the crystal heart, her name, and her name only engraved across it, this name unspoken, immortal, One day deep into the forest wood, a brave soldier for the good, Aegean, unmounted from his hourse, for a small drink of water from the river, As he slowly gazed down at the waters edge, an angelic reflection, poised with elegance and graceful beauty began to make him quiver, Draped in white gown of silk, with a halo of earthen flowers about her head, long was her dark hair tresseling down, glowing face of beauty, silent she spoke, not a sound (continued tomorrow)....... I am just wondering if this would be better in the prose section. I could be just very sleepy but it seemed that it was more like a short story rather than a poem. |

Thank you Jai of heaven...I try to be more descriptive in my poetry, taking the readers there, so I guess it makes my poems longer! but they are always from the heart of my imagination! Thank you my love! I agree with you, I did make the endings rhyme.....Thanks my sweet for always believing in me! Lovexxxx your Vermilion Queen |

the line between poetry, and prose is all in the poet's perspective...very interesting piece...i have found seduction in both extended pieces and shorter crisp feeling work..all in all the description was a very good read |
