i just had a job interview and this is my poem about......wait for it my job interview. __________________________________________________ Sitting, waiting, longing to escape Sweaty palms form as you stay Nervousness takes over your mind You long to run and never return But to get that money you wait For the interviewer to call your name As you look around at the others You feel even more nervous She calls you name and you long to die As you walk in the door and it slams shut She asks you the questions you already know And the nervousness runs away from you Then as you near the end she says This was the first interview to take With the easy questions out of the way The second interview you await The questions will be harder than before And nervousness comes flooding back Knocking on your door as you stand And you say goodbye and shake her hand |

I remember those times! I was always a nervous wreck before a job interview! Now I'm my own boss and I am very gentle with myself! ![]() Wishing you lots of good luck with your interviews! Just be yourself! Warm hugs, EA |

Everybody needs the money. Sometimes it helps to think about the kind of job that you'd like to eliminate right from the start. Having had a couple of those, I can tell you that I wish I'd sorted them out in the job interviews myself before I'd actually started working there. So, what kind of job would you wish you hadn't accepted, and maybe you can at least think of what you're looking for for in addition to a pay check. It could save you a lot of wear and tear down the line. |
