Crossing the verrazano for the call back home, i cannot choose my sky today as it's already claimed me, life and death interwoven, morphed into a solitary cloud, somber views match somber moods, reality hovers overhead dense as fog, over cityproject grey that scrapes the sky, even the towering weeds that line the shoulder of the Belt won't lure me to Kansas today, as they aren't looking like stalks of golden wheat right now, i don't want to click the ruby red slippers, i dont want to be Dorothy in the bible belt today, i just want to play in OZ, for a while * the belt is a parkway connecting NJ to BrooklynNY* [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (07-14-2003 11:31 PM).] |

Yes yes these lines: i cannot choose my sky today as it's already claimed me, - these lines God remind me of Morrison: "Awake, shake dreams from your hair, my child , my pretty one. Choose the day, the day's divinity . . . first thing you see . . ." I do know that city grey Michele brilliant xxoo |
