My love, There is a journey that awaits As destiny anticipates For we awoke to find in each Two strangers bound in loves beseech There could be more, but never less As dawn departs its misty dress For we have found in masked conclude Two searching hearts, grand fortitude There are those things still yet to know As voices soft trade soothed bestow For we remain in thought so rare Two friends by heart, a dream to dare My love, There lies a founding truth Enlightened wings, in living proof For we once dreamed as strangers then Our hearts remain to love again Copyright Kkh 7/13/03 |

TD There is something ancient in the feeling expressed in this poem...perhaps because love like this is timeless? Well done, as always! |

TD, This truly is a classic poem. Hmmm, I think I have someone who should hear this. I will see him tomorrow. Hope you don't mind if I do a reading for him. (Smiles) Patricia |
