The Devil made me, Mom said so... but did he make me do it? But what did I do? That's a Q I asked as a small child and never got an answer, just the 'appropriate' punishment. Even now, I only believe in poetic justice. The other kind never seemed fair. LIFE is not fair. That's the other thing I was always told, so often it got really old. Then I did. Get old, that is. And guess what? Now I think I understand at least one of those Q and A sequences. And I'm still looking for poetic justice. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (07-13-2003 02:33 PM).] |

...justice is considered to mean equality, It does mean equality- but equality for those who are equal, and not for all. ~Aristotle I'm still waiting for justice myself |

The Persian prophet Baha'ullah said "the best loved thing in all my sight is justice." But he also said not to look to man for it. Raph, I think we just have to accept that it's always imperfect, at best. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (07-13-2003 04:11 PM).] |

Midnitesun, great poem...I guess justice should be blind to emotions and relationships but since it is dispensed by humans it seems highly unlikely that that will happen...at least not all the time... Anwaar. |

Reb, ? maybe you just get caught more often than others. LOL, I almost always get caught, so I try really hard to stay out of SERIOUS trouble. Anwaar, so true. Thanks for reading and commenting. |

Sue, Duncan, Ed well, if it isn't three of my favorite night owl buddies, all in fine feathered form, offering me proof that poetic justice is worth the wait. HUH???? |
