Faith in broken moments

hot hate tears
down cheeks
like liquid lies

betrayal puddles collect
and reflect,
eyes broken
witness' to funerals of lost dreams.

Integrities gait
leaves realities gravity suddenly felt.
while memories of bud drops
and lleyo stops
offer relief.

once
(my outlet to calm seas)
again has left me wanting
to return to the hustle of back street shadows

for now,
whether i lay dead center
shielded by vioent waves
interrupting white squall winds
or beyond the whirling of my fallen spring

The stars, watch worlds spin,
earths existence soley defined in the light
of the sun.

ill just sit watching a timeless sky
in company with stars who only see a reflection

and they make the best company some nights
