of late summer dancing
by starlight
in the silence
not so quiet

by the lake

Gazing with my eyes closed
at your soul, and its beauty
with my arms tight
about you
and your hair

smells like heaven

And I realize
in a moment
that I am not singing
yet we are dancing
in the soft sultry starlight

by the lake
