Sometimes things happen. Sometimes I sit and watch. I'm fighting a losing battle Time hates me, I’d like to smash its face, Ties its hands behind it It’s only simple mechanics, as my life is ticking away And they say that time can save you, As if watching the clocks stare will do something And clocks would save me If I had the time If art is still inside, I feel it -Aaron Lewes [This message has been edited by Wind (07-12-2003 04:33 PM).] |

We are always running with time. Time to do this, time to do that. Time heals all wounds. Time to get up, time to go to bed, time to eat, time to take a bath, time marches on. We even have sayings like Time stood still It is time for all good people...... Gee I don't have enough TIME to keep on writing. LOL. Good one. Bon-Bon |

Time hates me, I’d like to smash its face, Ties its hands behind it haunting stuff. shiver me timbers. you always make me want to quote the whole poem ya little tinker. the part about wtching the clocks stare, as if it would help. and the ending. time, i've had my fair share of bad timings, and things happening at bad times, how time can break your heart. sigh. time should be banned. would that work? glad you told me i'd missed one. tsk, if i'd have known, i wouldnt have been waiting allll day..in the true style of liz >>>> |

hehe, you did me a favor by bumping it anyway. There's two types of poems that I write: shiver poems, that scare the heck out of the romantics, that are often dark and sad Gumdrop poems, which result from me reading your mind If art is still inside, I feel it |

"Time hates me, I’d like to smash its face, Ties its hands behind it It’s only simple mechanics, as my life is ticking away" _________________________ *Shaking my head here in awe of your talent.* I still can't believe that someone your age can write so powerfully and maturely of the dark and of life. Girl, if only you knew how I relate to the above lines. I'm keeping this. And I usually say 'DAMN' to Raph's poetry...well your poem deserves a DAMN! Melissa~ Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world! |
