I escape my world by the
Comfort of the written
Untold words that I type
Endlessly upon my screen
Everything seems unreal
Like a fairytale untrue
The public image lies to you
As you hide your true self
Engulfed by the darkness of another
Day that came along the sun beats upon
My skin and fries my mind with the
Thoughts of suicide I still can’t seem
To make much sense of things that happens
To me and other good people I just go on
Aimlessly

wow. l know exactly how you feel... about putting your heart and soul into it, too, for that matter... lol.
anyway, good.. you put soemthing ive been feeling for months into words..
thank you, for a good read, and the idea that theres soemoen out there.

I think most poets write from their heart and from their experiences. And that's what makes so many poems great. In my humble opinion!!

i agree highly,so many days or times when i just feel plain crappy,i write out what is bothering me and everything seems a bit brighter.
